Essential Skin Tips

SPF Every Single Day

Sun protection is the single most effective anti-ageing product you can use. Apply SPF 30–50 every morning — yes, even in winter, even when it is cloudy. UV damage is cumulative and is the leading cause of premature skin ageing and pigmentation.

Hydration Starts From Within

Drink at least 1.5–2 litres of water daily. Dehydration shows up on your skin as dullness, fine lines and a lack of elasticity. No topical moisturiser can compensate for poor internal hydration.

Less is More With Skincare

A simple routine done consistently outperforms a complicated one done sporadically. Start with cleanser, SPF in the morning and a good moisturiser. Add actives (retinol, vitamin C, AHAs) one at a time to identify what works for your skin.

Treat the Skin, Not the Mirror

Many skin concerns stem from internal factors — hormones, stress, diet, sleep. The most effective long-term skin strategies address root causes rather than just suppressing symptoms. A proper skin analysis helps identify what is really going on.

Change Your Pillowcase Weekly

Your pillowcase accumulates bacteria, dead skin cells, oil and product residue overnight. Sleeping on a clean pillowcase reduces the risk of breakouts and skin irritation. Silk or satin fabrics also reduce friction — better for both skin and hair.

Retinol Takes Time

If you are starting retinol, expect an adjustment period of 4–8 weeks. Some purging and initial dryness is normal. Use it 2–3 nights per week to start and build up gradually. Always apply to dry skin and follow with moisturiser.
